Dr Mesut Mehri
BDS MclinDent (orthodontics)
Being a second-generation dentist Mesut Mehri has always understood the importance of dental health due to his parents being well-established dentists in London.
His passion for dentistry and patient care stems from this. After graduating from The American school here in St John’s Wood, Mesut went on to do his dental degree abroad and stayed on to train in orthodontics.
He then returned back to London keen to give back to the community of St John’s wood. With this in mind he and his family have taken on Roland and Tollett Dental practice with the aim of continuing the same values and excellent standards that the practice has built its reputation upon.
Dr Simon Roland
LDS RCS Eng 1973 BDS Lond 1972
Simon Roland BDS(Lond) LDS RCS(Eng) qualified second in his year at UCH London in 1972 and won the American Association of Endodontists prize for outstanding ability. He is a fully accredited dentist to the American Embassy, the American School and many other Embassies and High Commissions in London.
He has been a past President of the London Dental Study Club and London Dental Fellowship. He has been Chairman of Judges for the Dentistry Awards (The Dental Oscars), has contributed numerous papers and articles to the dental literature and press and spoken on Dental matters on local and national TV and Radio and lectured in the UK, Europe and Africa.
He became a trustee for the dental charity Bridge2Aid in November 2008. With other dental volunteers, he has travelled to Tanzania to teach local community health workers in remote rural areas how to undertake basic emergency dentistry.
He is married to Jessica and has three daughters.

Dr Glenn Tollett
LDS RCS Eng 1981 BDS Lond 1980
Dr Glenn Tollett qualified at UCH London in 1980. As joint top student in his year he was awarded The American Association of Endodontists prize for outstanding ability and position of Professorial House Surgeon to the Dean of UCH with special interest in restorative dentistry. A year on the Maxillo Facial team at UCH and Great Ormond Street Hospitals followed before entering General dental practice where he continues to have a special interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry including Implants.
He has been both Hon Secretary and President of the London Dental Study Club and is currently an active member of the Dental Society of London. He is an accredited dentist to the American School, The Humana Wellington Hospital, various film studios and a number of Embassies in London.
Glenn has been a keen musician from the age of five gaining a scholarship to the Royal College of Music to study piano and composition. A founder member of the 70's rock group "The Enid" He now composes music for TV and film and is currently preparing the score for a stage Musical which has been performed at The Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts. A keen cyclist, sailor, skier and fly fisher. He is married to Barbara, a GP and has two sons.

Dr. Duncan Grant

Dr. Duncan Grant B.Ch.D has a special interest in endodontics (root canal treatment) & has worked in private practices in Knightsbridge & Holland Park. Dr. Grant uses the most advanced techniques and instruments available for his work.
He graduated in Leeds in 1987, with distinction in Clinical Dental Surgery and received the” Leign Gold Medal” in Dentistry. Due to his exceptional experience in endodontics, Dr. Grant is responsible for all root canal related work and is a key member of the team at Roland and Tollett Dental Practices.
In his spare time he is a semi-professional saxophone player and can be seen in events across London.

Dr Guy McLellan

Dr Guy McLellan is our dental implant surgeon.
Guy McLellan is doubly qualified in both dentistry and medicine and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He has over 10 years’ hospital experience including training in ENT and plastic surgery and has held an Honorary Consultant post in Oral Implantology at Charing Cross Hospital where he has run the dental implant clinic.
His experience in implants dates back to 1994 and includes extra-oral implants to retain facial cosmetics/reconstruction following facial cancer surgery as well as intra-oral cancer rehabilitation and facial deformities such as cleft lip and palate. He continues to work as a member of the Cranio-Facial team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. In private practice he limits his practice to surgical implantology and augmentation procedures including complex intra-oral and extra-oral grafting. He is a mentor for Nobel Biocare and is actively involved in Implant education.
He is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI), the European Association of Osseointegration and a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He is a mentor for Nobel Biocare and the ADI.
In his spare time he is a keen sportsman in particularly in Triathlons.

Louise Walker is a general family dentist providing routine dental care for all ages – from baby teeth to dentures. She has been practicing in North London for over 30 years and recently relocated to Roland and Tollett Dental in St John’s Wood.
Her work centres on regular check-ups which include soft tissue checks, periodontal monitoring, cleaning and oral hygiene instruction – referring to a specialist hygienist when necessary.

Dr Ahmed El-Engbawi
BDS. MSc. PhD.MOrth (RCS Ed), FDS Orth(RCS Eng), FHEA
Dr Ahmed our Consultant Orthodontist is joining us at Roland and Tollett Dental Practices. He qualified as an orthodontist after extensive training at the University of Glasgow where he worked as a clinical lecturer. In 2013, he was awarded PhD based on a clinical trial in assessing the effectiveness of different orthodontic appliances. He then moved to London where he spent three years treating and manging complex orthodontic cases at the Royal London Hospital to qualify as a consultant orthodontist.
He is currently working as senior lecturer and consultant at the University of Manchester treating complex cases and teaching postgraduate students. He is also works a consultant at Queens Hospital in London. Ahmed has extensive interest in research related to effective and accelerated orthodontic treatment. He is leading several multi-centre clinical trials and research projects. He published several high impact scientific articles and presented his work in international scientific meetings and conferences.
He has special interests in applying evidence based orthodontic treatment to both adults and children using fixedbraces and Invisalign. He has excellent clinical skills and extensive experience in treatment planning with patient-centred approach aiming for patient satisfaction as an ultimate goal.
Ahmed is married with two children and enjoys spending time with his family.

Dr Nick Vyas
Dr Nick qualified as a dentist in 1990 and thereafter spent three years working in the Hospital Dental Service in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and in General Dental Practice, after which he commenced his Specialist training.
Nick gained a distinction in Periodontology from the Eastman Dental Institute in 1995 and his FDS RCS Ed in 1996 from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. He gained Specialist Accreditation in 1999 and is registered with the General Dental Council as a Specialist in Periodontics. Nick completed a Certificate course in Implantology at the University of London in 2003/2004. He is a member of BSP, EFP, AAP and the BDA.
He is currently Specialist Clinical Lecturer at The Royal London Dental Institute (QM&St.B), where he teaches postgraduate specialist trainees.
He is able to offer a full range of services in periodontology from initial assessment and treatment planning through to surgical procedures including crown lengthening, grafting and ridge augmentation. Soft tissue biopsies can be provided for referred patients upon request.
Having worked previously as a general dental practitioner for many years and as periodontal monitoring is ongoing, Nick understands the need for regular communication between the referring dentist, the patient and himself.

Dr James Kleiber
James is our dental implant and restorative dentist at Roland and Tollett Dental Practice.
In addition to being an award-winning dentist, he is also a key opinion leader for Nobel Biocare, teaches dentists how to place and restore implants at the Diamond Academy UK and The Esthetic Alliance Programs, and is frequently published in leading industry magazines. James has also taught at Guy’s Hospital in London, is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI), and has extensive experience in the management of dental implants and aesthetic dentistry. He enjoys putting his artistic eye to his skills as a dentist to produce fantastic results and excels with patients of a nervous disposition.

Dr Martin Zunde
Dr Martin has been Training with the Allergan Medical Aesthetics Academy in the fields of Advanced Anti-wrinkle injections and Dermal Filler use since 2012. He has also been training medical practitioners in these fields since 2016. Graduating from Witwatersrand University Dental School in 2010, Dr Martin completed his internship at the Sabie hospital in Mpumalanga, South Africa in 2011, and started a prestigious private dental practice in the esteemed Melrose Arch area in South Africa. Dr Martin has attended countless advanced dental and aesthetic courses and prides himself in his high standards of making people look as beautiful and as natural as possible. Kim King-Lewis. Kim qualified as a Dental Hygienist at Edinburgh in 1979 and has been with us since 1988. Coming from dental stock in Newcastle via South Africa, she originally trained as a bilingual secretary before finding her chosen path.
In her spare time she is an ardent traveller and a keen sailor escaping whenever and wherever she can for a yearly foreign adventure and sailing in Majorca with her GP husband Peter as often as possible!

Frances graduated from Cardiff Dental University in 2015. She is keen to further her studies with particular interests in special care and oral health promotion.
Frances enjoys competing her horse Scarlett with British Eventing as well as doing show jumping, dressage and drag hunting. She regularly volunteers within her sport to help secure its future. Frances also enjoys playing lacrosse, travelling and skiing.

I have qualified from King’s College Hospital London in 2013 where following my interest I completed a research project on success of dental implants. I treat patients with complex implant work and it is my day-to-day hygiene practise.
I have a passion for treating periodontal disease with the aim of maintaining the teeth whenever possible - achieving a truly successful outcome.
As a therapist I enjoy restoring teeth with tooth coloured materials, and achieving a fantastic appearance is really important to me. I see every patient as an individual and adapt my appointments to suit patients’ needs. I enjoy keeping up-to-date with the latest knowledge and techniques by attending educational courses and conferences. Dentistry is a passion as well as career. I have a part time career as a family mediator.
In my spare time I enjoy playing piano and I love to travel.

Lynn Samuels has been Dr Tollett's dental nurse for over 20 years. She trained at the Eastman Dental Hospital qualifying in 1980. She specialised in Hospital Paediatric nursing and Prosthetics and retrained as a nursery nurse when her own children were young.
On leaving the Hospital sector Lynn entered private practice in Harley Street before joining Glenn. Since then she has trained as both an Implant nurse and IV sedation assistant and works with our in house Endodontist.
She is fully trained in CPR and attends regular CPD courses to keep up to date.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and riding her horse Harvey and walking her dog.

Lindsey Vincent is Simon Roland's Dental Nurse she joined our practice on 2003 and works with our in-house experts. She has been in dentistry for 30 years ago.
Lindsey has nursed at Great Ormond Street Hospital, British Airways and Private practices in London. Competent in all aspects of dentistry including Implantology and Endodontics she continues her training in CPR and CPD.
Lindsey is a great cook and animal lover.

As our Practice Manager Camelia ensures the smooth daily running of our practice and supports our team in delivering the very best patient care. Camelia is available for any advice or support regarding general enquiries, treatment or complaints.
Camelia has a profound love for the outdoors and travelling. She enjoys visiting family, horse riding and keeping fit as well going to the movies. She is also studying Management in her spare time.
